The career of Mr. Puckett ranged from being an office clerk, radio disc jockey announcer, hotel manager, management trainee, and International trader to renewable energy investor. He is considered to be the pioneer of renewable energy in the Philippines.

Mr. Puckett is an entrepreneur whose vision of communities running on alternative sources of energy enables him to succeed in the business in a way that helps the people and the environment.

He is the first and oldest advocate of renewable energy in the Philippines starting in 1976 to the present.  He was the first to introduce solar, wind, micro-hydro, mini geothermal, solar water heating and other renewable energy products and gadgets to the Philippine market.  He boosted renewable energy, aggressively promoted clean energy and crafted an ambitious renewable energy organization.

Pete is the President and Chief executive Officer of Nature’s Legacy, a globally recognized manufacturer of high quality home furnishings. He is one of the pioneers responsible for ‘greening’ the furniture industry.

In 2007, Pete was named Environment-Friendly Entrepreneur of the Year given by the Cebu Chamber of Commerce and he also received the Excellence in Ecology and Economy (E3) Award given by the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

His other awards include the 2004 Golden Shell Award – Excellence in Export for Manufacturing and Design Excellence, the highest award given to Filipino export companies; a special citation for Eco-friendly Products during the Cebu International Furniture & Furnishings Exhibition (Cebu X 2008); 2005 Most Creative Product Award given by the California Integrated Waste Board in the US; and numerous citations from the Katha Awards of the Manila Furniture Accessories Manufacturers Exporters (FAME).
