Cebu’s icons in the health and wellness industry will come together to conduct CCCI’s Beauty, Health and Wellness (BHW) ’09 Forum on November 5, 2009 from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm at the Laguna Garden Cafe, Ayala Center in conjunction with the 5th BHW Show which will run from November 4 to 8, 2009. BHW’09 with the theme, “Experience Life!” continues to sustain the health and wellness lifestyle of Cebu. This event is in partnership with PhilExport Cebu, Spa & Wellness Association of Cebu, Inc., Cebu Health and Wellness Council, and Ayala Center-Cebu.
During the forum, reputable experts and institutions in the fields of medicine and dentistry shall serve as resource speakers. Among the speakers will be: Dr. Henry Chua – Advanced Minimally Invasive Surgery Endocrine & Bariatic Surgery; Dr. Potenciano “Yong” Larrazabal III – Lasik Eye Surgery; Dr. Alain Senerpida & Dr. Jennifer Toledo Tan – Dermatology and Cosmetic Surgery; Dr. Andrea Arancillo – Dental Implants; and Dr. David Alesna – Cosmetic Dentistry. Topics on Hospital Based Drug, Detoxification and Rehabilitation will be handled by Dr. Emma Dira Medoza, Dr. Glenda Ilano, and Dr. Butch Esplanada.
Other seminars and workshops shall be offered for the duration of BHW 09 such as Shivananda and Sunsalitation Yoga, and Astanga, Vinyasakrama and Soft Low Yoga from Body Mind Well-being Studio.
Other highlights of this event are the Demo and Free Workshop on Filipino Hilot, Presentation from Fitness First, Lecture and Demo on Make-up by Jessie Glova, Rock ‘N Run and the Dancesport Competition followed by the Awards night.
