A wedding is a “new beginning” in a couple’s relationship. Preparing for it is far from being a fairytale. Most women had their own version of what they imagined as their perfect wedding but finding the right wedding gown and suit can be a nightmare. Not to mention the tedious process of looking for a wedding cake, wedding flowers and perfect place that would suit with their wedding’s theme. All these could dampen and stressed out the couples journey in starting their new chapter as husband and wife.
Kasalang Filipino 2009 was held in order to promote Cebu weddings. It showcases the Cebu wedding traditions. The 3-day activity features wedding songs, make-up testing and bridal & entourage fashion show. The fashion show presented the designs from the members of the Fashion Council Cebu. Exhibitors were Cebu wedding coordinators, Cebu wedding photographers, Cebu wedding florists and Cebu wedding cake makers.
Mr. Roger Chua of Kasal.com said that the event aims to promote Cebu wedding suppliers and encourage Filipinos overseas to have their wedding here in Cebu. The event is held every two years in 12 cities and Cebu is their last stop.
Surely, this event is a great venue for couples to search for their wedding needs and finally have their happy ever after.
