H2b is not a performer - he hates to do anything which makes him stand out. His stag do was a evening at a friend's house which is huge watching films on their big screen and seeing friends he hardly gets to see since he moved to Worcester to live with me. He was really excited as it was a night without family responsibilities too.
He was having a fab time and then a stripper walked in. She dragged him up, took his top off (he hated because he is shy and body conscious - he always wears a rash vest when we go swimming) and then took all her clothes off and tried to take his trousers off. He very dignified told her to stop - and over his shoulder he saw his brother yelling at the group of lads in the corner who had obviously arranged it - screaming 'who did this?' etc. There was almost a fight, the stripper put her clothes back on and went home.
Phil walked out and his real friends, who would never have done anything like that to him because they know how much he hates it,followed him. It ruined the whole night for him, he went to bed and was home by midday yesterday.
He came home really upset and I spent most of the day sorting it out. My friend's hubby came and apologized yesterday and has also done the right thing and called h2b's brother to apologize but the damage has been done and I feel very deflated today.
My h2b is a very sweet sensitive kind man who deserved to have the stag do he wanted. I appreciate that most stag dos are all about strippers etc but my h2b just isn't interested in that ' laddy' crap.
