Tudela is fabled place once known as “Tag-anito” derived from the practice by its inhabitants of worshipping anitos or spirits. The festival likewise features mascots of the famous “Mandayang” known for his “anting-anting”, a native defender against invading “moro warriors”. The street dancing is composed of the general mortal dance, the immortal dance and the great celebration. |
