Description:
Provide professional, full, and comprehensive HR generalist executive leadership for Cebu facility.
Professionally interact with all levels of employees and managers on a routine basis with poise, tact and diplomacy.
Ensure consistent and accurate execution of HR strategy, policies, procedures, and processes to maximize the effectiveness of the Human Resources unit.
Work with on-site senior management to ensure consistent execution of business plans
Provide leadership and direction to recruiting manager and unit.
Ensure superior results of recruiting efforts matched by cost efficiency
Perform substantive work on projects of significance to the company
Provide leadership and direction to performance development manager and staff to ensure high performance of workforce and appropriate development
Provide leadership and direction to administrative manager and staff to ensure smooth operation of facilities and timely support of expatriate managers
Provide leadership and direction to compensation and benefits manager and staff to ensure consistent and compliant practices and procedures
Provide leadership and direction to employee relations staff to ensure consistent and compliant practices and procedures
Supervise staff of 12+ (including 2 managers)
Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s/College Degree, Post Graduate Diploma / Master’s Degree, Human Resource Management, Psychology or equivalent.
At least 10 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Must have at least five years’ exempt level HR experience in a leadership role. SPHR or GPHR certification preferred
Superior knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook e-mail, Internet use, and typing skills at 40 WPM
Ability to multi-task effectively
Superior communication skills
Superior diplomacy skills
Working knowledge of SE Asian culture; Philippine cultural knowledge a plus
Exposure to US companies; US cultural knowledge a plus.
Sufficient manual and digital dexterity to work with a computer keyboard , mouse and monitor, phone pad
Keyboard typing and general movement through office space
Working hours is from 9:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. core schedule with frequent flexibility for start and ending times and overtime required during extraordinarily busy times.
