Dalaguete, Cebu - Ocean Bay Beach Resort, one of Cebu’s finest resorts is announcing
a further P200,000 investment with the accomplishment of it’s gazebo following the
recent completion of the Dalaguete Beach Café, the resort’s in-house restaurant, and
will lead to a significant increase in tourism not only to the resort but to
Dalaguete as a Municipality.

Over 100 square meters in total, the gazebo is strategically built directly above
the water. This latest investment will become one of the main attractions of the
resort with a capacity of at least 30-40 persons, thus making it a perfect venue for
parties and gatherings.

Aside from the almost-finished gazebo, the resort is now renovating which will
result in eight more rooms for full accommodation.

These are just a few of the many long term plans the management has for the resort.

Mrs. Rufa Kupers, Manager, explained the expansion and investment: “Our facilities
are in line with the growing requirement for premier lodging facilities.”

“We want people to experience and find out for themselves how nice and friendly
Ocean Bay can be as well as to establish a different feel that Ocean Bay is not just
an ordinary resort but it’s a destination resort.

“Guests can also do a lot of things with the various amenities available such as the
barbeque area, pool, spa, restaurant, diving, boat trips, snorkeling, and motor
biking or just take a stroll at our shoreline.

Mrs. Kupers added “They can also be one with nature with the resort serving as a
great hangout especially during night time.”

She also explained that this new investment in the resort will undoubtedly help
maintain Ocean Bay’s position as a leader in a very competitive marketplace.
Importantly, it is excellent news for the local economy in Dalaguete, not least on
the jobs front. It will also enable the resort to continue to grow and meet
increased demands of quality recreation.

Ocean Bay Beach Resort was established in 1998 and caters both to local and foreign
