Forum on Doing Business in Canada
Tuesday, October 4th, 2005The Cebu Chamber of Commerce & Industry (Cebu-Canada Business Council) & Josephine Yam Professional Corp., a Canadian Business Immigration Law Firm will be holding a Forum on Doing Business in Canada on October 7, 2005 from 1:00pm to 3:00pm at City Sports Club.
Attorney Josephine Tañada Yam, will do the presentation focusing on providing information on the Canadian government’s Business Immigration Programs. These programs seek to attract individuals with business savvy and experience, who can invest in, or start a business in Canada, as they apply for Canadian permanent resident status for themselves and their families. Attorney Josephine Tañada Yam will also discuss and answer questions on key legal issues related to Business Immigration to Canada.
Attorney Yam is an international lawyer, admitted to practice law in Canada, the USA and the Philippines. She practiced law for numerous years with Baker & Mckenzie, one of the world’s largest law firms, at its offices in Manila, Philippines, Hongkong and Toronto, Canada. She is currently a member of the Canadinan Chamber of Commerce and the Philippine Chamber of Commerce-Toronto. Recently, Attorney Yam delivered a series of “Doing Business in Canada†presentations with the Canadian Ambassador, H.E.
