Wet Thing is a pure HIPHOP/RnB band but because of their versatility, they can also play a little bit of reggae, alternative pop and retro music.
This band would play songs that can’t get out of your head. Wet Thing has performed in cebu’s top resto-bars namely Ratsky, VUDU Lounge, Camp Zitro, Kukai’s, NASA, Sinners and Saints, La Chapelle and Cadillac Café.
A regular performer in Major events of San Miguel and has traveled to different areas in Visayas and Mindanao especially in the provinces of Cebu, Iloilo, Bacolod (back to back with True Faith), Dumaguete, Davao, Cagayan De Oro, Surigao, Dapitan, Bohol, Tacloban (back to back with MYMP), Ozamis and Bais City.
Wet Thing has also graced events of other clients such as Globe Telecom (Globe Freedom Concert) last June 2004 held at the Cebu Business Park, Ayala Center Cebu’s Back to School with Bayani Agbayani last May 2004 and the Launching of HIPZONE at the 3rd level of Ayala Center Cebu.
Wet Thing band is composed of 6 members --. Carlo “Dre” Reyes, a 25 year old versatile singer/rapper and the brother of the actress/commediene Sherilyn Reyes. Helle Madsen, a 21 year old promising diva. Josephus “Jojo” Fajardo, 32 years old and one of the best drummer in the country today who spent years playing in Malaysia, Singapore and other countries in Asia. Glen Lopez, 33 years old and one of the best/famous guitarist in town. Introducing the band’s newest member, John Patrick Noel who jams & plays the bass guitar very well. Lastly, Derek Diaz on keyboards is a 30 year old song writer/composer.
With all these magnificent talents combined, together, they form Cebu’s R & B Sensation ---
